SPECIAL FEATURES (DEPARTMENT INFORMATION)
Teaching: Students obtain a generalist education in Business Administration during stage I studies. During stage II studies, students can choose from 10 key areas (Controlling, Marketing, Personnel, Business Informatics, Taxation and Auditing, Economic Law, International Management, Financial Services, Health Care, Medium-Sized Enterprises). A practical phase of 12 weeks is obligatory.
Equipment: The department has several own PC rooms and a mobile PC lab with 30 units; all lecture theatres are equipped with beamers and WLAN
Research and Development: Research is conducted in cooperation with European universities: e.g. PhD programmes with Edinburgh Napier University. 3 academic assistants of the department are currently doing a doctorate at this university.; Applied research in consecutive Master's programmes, MA in Company Management and MA in International Marketing and others by cooperation with companies
