Research: Biology focus areas, application-oriented topics and cooperations (MPI, IMB, UniMed) in the areas of material science, biotechnology, immune therapy and neurosciences; NGS, 3D reconstruction multimeric protein complexes, phylogenomics, evolutionary processes, connecting evolutionary biology with structure-function analysis, broad coverage of the organisational levels.
