      • Teaching: Teaching in the Economics Department is distinguished by:; - a high degree of reference to application of the specialist contents taught; - manageable group sizes with direct contact to the teaching staff; - a broad range of relevant specialisation modules on offer; - a high level of media competence and up to date media equipment;

      • Equipment: The facilities are provided with up to date media technology; W-LAN access available across the entire campus; the PC labs are equipped with the most up to date devices
      • Research and Development: Teaching staff in the Economics Department participate in a range of research projects. Among these, on the one hand, are research activities in cooperation with companies, in which students are also involved. On the other hand, the professors are distinguished by being involved in comprehensive publishing activities. There is also a research focus on the area of Communications Science.
      • Other special features: In 2013, Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences will move into a new campus in the centre of Düsseldorf (Derendorf). Among other features, this campus will be equipped with state of the art IT and media technology.
