Freiburg university library is one of the largest academic libraries in Germany and offers students excellent working conditions and a range of training with its 24/7 services and modern media centre. In addition to the print stock (almost 4 million volumes, plus a further 2 million volumes in the local libraries), an extensive range of e-books is also offered (approx. 48,000 e-journals and approx. 1,300 databases). The university library is currently being refurbished
a new building featuring more than 1,700 workspaces will be completed by the 2013/2014 winter semester. more information
