Monday-Friday: 08:00-19:00 Saturdays: 07:30-14:00. Additional consultation hours with regional course guidance offices in the study centre, also by arrangement. Central and local course guidance offices are open approx. 65 hours per week to provide guidance. Additional appointments are possible by arrangement.

The FOM has appropriate resources, in both quantitative and qualitative terms, to acquire information and literature. There are three parallel literature acquisition routes: provision of an online literature service via Online Campus access to the public university library system on-site literature supply at the study centre. Online literature supply 7 days a week at every site. Enquire about the reference library opening hours directly at the study centres, as these vary at each location.
