New library building in the city centre from May 2013, second new building on the Lichtwiese campus. Opening hours (city centre): 24 hours a day, textbook collection and extensive open access stock for immediate loan during all opening hours, self-service booking terminals. Around 19,000 e-books, 34,000 e-journals and approx. 400 online databases for all subject areas on the TU network. Regular first semester guided tours, training for databases and literature management programmes, research training, laptop loan system, building navigation system, individual and group work rooms, free use of scanners.
