The university library provides literature and information. It supports the students, teaching staff and researchers of the university with academic literature, electronic media, long opening hours, large open access areas, modern reading rooms, up-to-date reproduction techniques and subject-specific information transmission. The stock comprises 2 million print books and journals, 425,000 e-books, 30,500 e-journals, 409 databases and about 50,000 volumes in the textbook collection (7,000 titles). The university library has considerable historic collections and valuable ancient stocks. more information
