The university library comprises the main library in Erlangen, the Technology/Natural Sciences branch library on the southern campus, two branch libraries in Nuremberg and 15 sub-libraries. With 51,303 electronic journals and 215,000 e-books, it offers an extensive range of electronic stock. The university library has a print stock of 5,438,563 volumes including the German Research Foundation's (DFG) specialist collections in Philosophy and Educational Research. It operates an inter-library loan service between Erlangen and Nuremberg and the FAUdok electronic document supply service. more information
