The library at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) deploys its resources in an efficient and user-oriented manner. RFID technology has been introduced for the supply of literature (print and electronic media), which contributes to modernisation and enhances loan services. The library is open to students around the clock (24-hour library), with access via magnetic card. The German Library Association conducted a national evaluation in 2010. The university library was ranked fourth out of 40 specialist university libraries. more information
