The library can be used for free. 245 workspaces are available of which 52 are PC workstations. In addition, there are 16 work booths, a presentation room with 45 seats and two group work rooms. Total surface area of 2,700 m². WLAN, photocopying facilities, scanners and video conference technology are also available. A total of over 275,000 media items are available. The digital stock comprises over 65,000 electronic books and standards as well as 17,000 electronic journals. more information

| Foreign language courses [?] |
There is a foreign language centre offering the following programmes: Advanced courses in English, French, Russian. The prerequisite for this is a minimum of four years of studying, or an adequate level of competency acquired elsewhere. Beginner courses are offered in French, Italian, Russian, Spanish and, due to the locations of Zittau and Görlitz, in Czech and Polish. Foreign students are offered courses in German as a Foreign Language. more information
