Special features library
The Universität Stuttgart has a two-level library system with a main library on two sites (city centre and Vaihingen) with approx. 1.6 million media items and 120 departmental libraries with a further 810,000 volumes in total. The university library makes around 28,500 e-journals and 387 databases and e-books available across the campus. The main library features 1,120 workspaces of which 90 are PC workstations. 6 book scanners are available free of charge; WiFi is available in both buildings; Opening hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-22:00, Sat 10:00-22:00. more information

Special features University Sports
There are over 300 courses on offer in seven areas (competitive games, individual sports, health & fitness, outdoor activities & excursions, martial arts and dance), led by around 200 qualified instructors. Both beginners and advanced students are welcome to participate. As far as possible, the university sports programme provides the material and equipment required for each of the sports. Participation is subject to fees. It is possible to participate in all sports programmes that allow the external participants. Otherwise within Baden-Württemberg in workshops and excursions. more information
