The research institutes (Automotive industry, Cooperation, Real estate, Information technology, City and real estate, Health economy, Modern management development, Post real estate management , Corporate Governance) employ students depending on the project. The research results are incorporated directly into the teaching. The institutes have numerous contacts with partners from the fields of research and industry.

Support for founders"G-Inno" as its own innovation and start-up centre, www.g-inno.de, professorship "Entrepreneurship", Contact-AS start-up initiative (advice, coaching, information, qualification), modules for business start-up and succession, business plan, lectures and workshops, module "Startup Lessons" for the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills. Series of events "Students meet start-ups". Forum for Commercial Law and Forum for Career Entry (WiJuS e.V.), Future forum, in the past 10 years there have been around 210 start-ups.
