Special features regarding the equipmentExcellent, up-to-date library equipment (print and online), (especially for legal subjects with various specialist databases); latest technology in language laboratories; each lecture hall / seminar room has its own media control; the technical equipment offers the possibility of lecture recording. Video conferencing software is available for webinars (synchronous communication). Modules are sometimes enriched and supplemented individually by e-learning components in the learning management system (Moodle). There are online language training courses to deepen your language skills.

Special features regarding research and developmentIntensive cooperation with companies also through third-party funded projects of the institutes "Accounting, Auditing, Restructuring and Taxation", "Real Estate Management", "Information Management", "Management and Leadership", "Asset Management", "Business Law" and the Centre for Scientific Services and Transfers (Zewis) in Obernburg. The institutes include professors from all departments of the department, who develop, advise, and develop scientifically innovative, practical solutions and achieve an intensive exchange between practice, research, teachers and students.

Support for foundersThe support of start-ups at the Technical University in Aschaffenburg is provided centrally by Prof. Boris Bauke, who represents the field of Entrepreneurship. There is close cooperation with the university's Career Service and with the local start-up centres. Different awareness and qualification measures are offered. Active start-up advice and access to initiatives and start-up competitions are advertised and also on offer.

Collaboration between European and non-European universities offers the possibility of studying abroad to gather experience whilst at university. The "Hochschule-Dual" model is a degree course with an intensive practical component. Students are offered a variety of information and advice options.
