Special features regarding teachingTeaching contents are founded in theory and also practice-oriented. Teaching takes place in small groups. Practical teaching involves lecturers from the respective professional environment and guest speakers from the practical field. Individual course schedule planning possible, promotion of teamwork through many projects. 3 courses are dual, each with six company study sections; International Business Administration has two semesters in English; processing of case studies; MBA Aviation and Tourism Management: Fireside chats, business etiquette, three stays abroad.

Special features regarding the international orientationThe share of incoming students was increased significantly in recent semesters. The Master's in Strategic Information Management provides for a simultaneous degree with an international MBA. Modules taught abroad are recognised for the contents on the basis of learning agreements.

Special features regarding research and developmentThe faculty supports the application-oriented research and advisory activities of the professors. 6 research institutes are based at the faculty. These institutes form the platform for various research, development and further education activities of the faculty and are also a platform for the exchange with regional industry on the further development of the courses on offer. Latest research findings are presented to interested parties in so-called Brown Bag seminars.
