Characteristics of assistance to differently abled personsThe school takes into account the individual needs of students who look after others (family members). A department-specific advisory and support service is in place where the methods of equalisation of disadvantages are explained and that helps with applications. The Oldenburg student union also offers many advisory services, directed at students at the Emden/Leer university. Information is provided on the following: Psychosocial counselling, social counselling, student finance consulting, counselling for people with disabilities.
