Special features regarding teachingPractical orientation thanks to assistant professors from business/industry; Courses are taught in small groups; Direct contact with assistant professors; Compulsory mentoring from the first semester to support our students during their course of studies; A semester abroad or a practical semester is integrated into all the Bachelor's degree courses; There are ongoing projects with companies as well as cross-border projects conducted with other European universities.
Special features regarding the international orientationFor the Economics department, the international focus is of central importance and very well represented by a large number of partnership agreements. The department offers various Bachelor's and Master's programmes, some of which have an international focus. These include in particular the Bachelor's in International Business (6 semesters and 8 semesters) as well as International Business Management, which include partial elements in English. A Master's fully taught in English has been set up: European Master of Project Management.

Special features regarding the equipmentAll lecture theatres and seminar rooms are equipped with PC technology, digital projectors and overhead projectors. In addition, interactive displays are available and there is even the possibility of duplicated projection from a room size of 60 students. Flip charts and multiplan screens are provided in all rooms. All seminar rooms and PC pools are fitted with permanently installed computers and projectors and have a daylight projector as well as electronic whiteboards. There are five PC rooms with a total of 95 PCs and 190 seats as well as three PC rooms for all faculties with approx. 50 PCs and 100 seats.
Special features regarding research and developmentResearch focus areas determined by the practical experience of the assistant professors; current research activities: Includes, for example, CASEM case studies, Chamber of Commerce InnoMonitor. 1 cooperative doctorate in the period 2013-2015.
