Special features regarding research and developmentApplication-related research projects and cooperations with companies and municipal public institutions, primarily in the areas of Trier, Saarland and Luxembourg, but also international projects. Students can participate in research in the framework of seminars, practical projects, final theses or by working as an academic assistant. Research sabbaticals for the professors are supported and used intensively, and the results are incorporated directly into teaching.
Support for foundersSeminars on entrepreneurship are part of the courses offered by the business department. The Founders' Office at the Trier University supports start-ups through the communication of basic knowledge, funding advice, potential analysis of ideas and SWOT analysis of the founder, regular information sessions.
