  • Special features regarding teaching
Flexible teaching/study arrangements (e.g. case studies, IT-based exercises, practical workshops/lectures/excursions, research-based learning) make up the foundation of our implementation-oriented programmes. Various possibilities of cooperation with companies are offered, for example, through integrated practice and application projects (e.g. 10 weeks in the Bachelor, various projects in the Master). Our students learn effectively in small groups, and in direct contact with the teachers. Semester abroad possible at 21 partner universities worldwide; close integration with Business Informatics.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
The Bachelor's and Master's in Business Administration allow for (ERASMUS) semesters abroad at one of our 21 partner universities around the world. Students at our school benefit from courses taught in English and language courses (e.g. Chinese, Arabic, French). Non-native speakers improve their German-language skills through language tandems, writing and pronunciation training, often with the support of German students. Each year the EUROWEEK is held for students (international final conference outside of Germany in Europe; prior to this: 6-month research project in cross-cultural teams).
  • Exchange universities for stay abroads

  • Special features regarding the equipment
Our facilities boast very modern equipment as well as IT laboratories, smart/activeboards and special software (language lab, e-learning lab, innovation lab), solid cloud computing infrastructure for the flexible provision of virtual servers for various courses, online learning platforms and full WiFi coverage. Students can use fully equipped rooms for self-directed learning and practicing. The university library has a large inventory of online materials and grants access to numerous databases and online libraries.
  • Support for founders
The topic "start-up" is firmly enshrined in our Business Administration programmes (especially Bachelor's in Business Administration: Business plan, start-up management, company succession and elective modules on SME management; Business Administration Master: Specialisation option SME Management). Alumni of our university who have created successful start-ups and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Transfer are actively involved in the teaching and accompany students' start-up projects. The Brandenburg Technical University was awarded in 2016 the titles Ideas Creators and Founders' FH.
  • Other special features
Practical and academic training with very good career prospects; individual support from teachers; diverse cooperation with regional companies; special forms of study (part-time Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, dual study format and a non-consecutive Master's degree in Technology and Innovation Management); Award as "Founder FH".
