  • Special features regarding teaching
    Appropriation of subject-related foreign language skills and intercultural competence; practical training in courses, supported by project work, case study discussions and excursions; compulsory elective modules are offered on an interdisciplinary basis. Interdisciplinarity through joint teaching projects and particularly strong integration between business and legal content; use of modern online teaching methods.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    The special feature of the department, in particular of the courses in European Management B.A, M.A. is its international, in particular European, orientation. Starting with the 1st semester, individual subjects are offered in English. In the 4th semester, an internship abroad must be completed as a mandatory internship.

    Seminar rooms with projector and PC labs, SPSS licenses, innovation lab, ViNN lab, media centre, 3-D printing and creativity lab.

    Innovation and Regional Research: application-oriented research and service projects in cooperation with the Institute for Regional Innovation Research: Regional innovation potential / development concepts; innovation behaviour of actors in regional innovation systems; innovation and technology analysis for technology platforms and innovative economic areas / technology assessment; Industry and technology field analysis; monitoring / evaluation of start-up processes; skilled worker needs / qualification requirements; regional climate change adaptation.
  • Support for founders
    The TH Wildau offers a start-up service for all departments. Advice on start-ups, workshops and coaching are available. Ideas and prototypes can be developed in a start-up workshop and ViNN lab.

    Common department for Business, IT and Law, which enables particularly close cooperation and coordination of teachers in these areas.
