Special features regarding teachingPolitical science in Erlangen covers all areas of the discipline. Distinctive features of the institute in Erlangen also include the areas “human rights and human rights policy“ and “politics in non-European regions" (Middle East, Southeast Asia). The bachelor's and master's courses are concept- and theory-based and align with the current debates within the discipline. The degree course also includes an introduction to science theory, in-depth training in methodology in the social sciences and one module providing a supplementary vocational qualification.
