Other special featuresThe Institute of Political Science at the TU Chemnitz is part of the Faculty of Philosophy. There are four chairs belonging to the institute: Political Theory and History of Ideas / Political Systems, Political Institutions / International Politics / Comparing European Systems of Government as well as the junior professorship in Political Science Research Methods. In this way, Political Science at Chemnitz enables practice and research-related training in professionally qualifying degree courses, which also demonstrate a highly inter-disciplinary approach.
