  • Characteristics of assistance to differently abled persons
Close cooperation exists with the central advisory offices of the University of Rostock to adjust study and examination arrangements in the best possible way to concrete individual requirements. This includes accessibility to teaching and events and adjusting study and examination formats to the needs of students with disabilities. Various possibilities for reasonable adjustments (e.g. extension of deadlines etc.) additionally exist in cooperation with the university’s officers for students with chronic conditions or disabilities.
  • Characteristics of diversity advancement
The institute faculty includes a French professor, a lecturer who originally comes from Ukraine and an Argentinian lecturer. The BA programme in particular has numerous migrant-background students, chiefly from the former Soviet Union and EU Member States. Through this diversity, we can better integrate students in the German teaching and research system and have them deal with interesting issues.
