Special features regarding teachingIntegration of theory and practice; Practical relevance: two work placements as well as at least one practical project; Specialisation in professional activity through the choice of two areas of specialisation; Business Administration can be studied as a dual course; Excellent supervision ratio of teachers to students; Small group sizes (<30) in the specialisation areas.
Special features regarding the international orientationTHI Business School is characterised by a very large number of international partners. Students can choose from 96 partner universities on all continents. Almost all courses include English-language lectures and integrated practical and theoretical semesters abroad. Students benefit from regular visits by guest lecturers, active staff mobility and also incoming students from around the world. The Audi Confucius Institute Ingolstadt, recently opened, is particularly supportive of the international focus in China.

Special features regarding the equipmentVery well-equipped library: All standard works available in sufficient number, journal databases, company databases, support for students in finding information, research and academic work through the library; computer pools with the latest technical equipment and current software, WiFi on entire campus; Notebooks, presenters, loudspeakers, cameras, camcorders and CD players can be borrowed for presentations; All seminar rooms and lecture halls are equipped with projectors and whiteboards.
Special features regarding research and developmentThe results of the applied research carried out by the professors flow directly into the teaching; students are partly integrated into the field of applied research. 1 cooperative doctorate in the period 2013-2015.

Support for foundersBeginning in winter semester 2016/17, the newly created Centre of Entrepreneurship of THI Business School will coordinate all start-up activities of the university across the THI; THI provides support in the application for start-up bursaries (e.g. EXIST, Flügge, etc.); Regional founders' competition (Founders' Award Ingolstadt) and, starting in winter semester 2016/17, a new digital incubator.
Characteristics of assistance to differently abled personsTHI actively promotes people with disabilities or chronic diseases being able to successfully design and complete their degree course. To this end, the Disabilities Representative supports students on all issues and problems that may arise prior to taking up courses or while studying due to disability or illness, particularly on course and exam conditions (e.g. option of extensions) as well as structural and technical conditions and requirements.
Characteristics of diversity advancementOur special diversity services are also focused on our reputation as a family-friendly university. Internationalism is also encouraged for both students and professors. The integration campus in Neuburg on the Danube is a further special feature of the THI. This is where refugees can seek personal and professional further development. The Career Service offers comprehensive services for all students. As for internal further professional development, seminars on cross-cultural communications are provided for staff.
