  • Special features regarding teaching
    The course subjects impart the business-related core subjects and skills in small groups in a theoretically sound and practice-oriented manner. Framework conditions are created within which the students can individually develop their own personality. Soft skill training, compulsory internships, foreign language classes, practical projects and semesters abroad offer numerous opportunities to recognise and develop individual strengths and to build your own profile. This is encouraged through the close exchange with company representatives and mentors.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Semesters and internships abroad are possible in all courses, compulsory in the "International Business Management" course. These are integrated in the classroom courses so that the standard period of study is not extended and there are no problems with recognition. The Master's programme offers the opportunity to complete a semester abroad or a dual award programme with partner universities (KEDGE Business School, France / Bond University, Australia / Regent's University London, England). The International Office supports you during the planning and study phase.

  • Special features regarding the equipment
    The facilities are equipped with the necessary modern infrastructure. IT training is carried out in a room equipped and set aside especially for this purpose. The university offers students study areas that are equipped with IT infrastructure and WiFi. The students use the Göttingen State and University Library, the connected departmental libraries, a handset and have access to the EBSCO database. PFH students thus have extensive access to literature and data at one of the leading university locations in Germany.
  • Special features regarding research and development
    The ongoing research projects with national and international partners, for example in the field of Digital Marketing, Start-up Management / Start-up Financing, Behaviour or Innovation Management and Industrial Policy, are application-oriented. Results quickly find their way into teaching. Students can participate in research projects.
  • Support for founders
    The university has a Centre for Entrepreneurship and, as a university of entrepreneurs and founders, has a systematic focus on creating and encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and actions. Through a varied spectrum of services, the Centre provides an impetus for the long-term establishment of a culture defined by entrepreneurial initiative and independence. According to the Start-up Radar study, the PFH is among the universities in Germany with the best start-up promotion.
  • Other special features
    Entry without risk: Students receive the tuition fees paid back in the first Bachelor's semester if they decide not to continue their studies in the first three months of their studies. Job guarantee: If Master's graduates cannot find a job within the first nine months after the exam, they will be reimbursed 20% of the tuition fees paid. Hybrid university: The students of the Business Administration / Management campus courses at the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences also benefit from the digital content and online learning tools of the distance learning courses.
