Special features regarding teachingThe course is characterised by particular practical relevance: in addition to a 5-month internship, several practice-oriented modules and seminars with practitioners as lecturers are characteristic of the course. Specialised offers on the topics of drugs and drug use, systemic social work and applied sexology are an important part of teaching, as are seminars on artistic skills. The artistic workshops (video and film workshop; music; photo; theatre; painting, drawing and printing workshop) are a central part of teaching of the course.
-
Special features regarding the international orientationThe course includes a compulsory "international module" in which, in addition to an English language course (at different levels), only English-language specialist seminars are offered with international lecturers. In addition to expanding the skills of our students, teaching is more attractive for foreign students and teachers. We encourage our students to do a semester or internship abroad (bi-national theses / projects also possible). These processes are accompanied, among other things, by the department's international representative.
