    Close, good and often personal supervision of students by professors; Various exercises, construction projects and laboratory experiments carried out in small groups as well as the application of presentation technology (e.g. university day for product development) and project management are evidence of the high level of practical relevance. Opportunities to have contact with engineers from industry during the lecture period: Industry seminar (presentations by industry representatives), excursion week, an industry day organised by a student project team in which companies present themselves to students.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    From the university's diverse international orientation, only the exchange of Mechanical Engineering students which has existed for many years with the partner Tongji University in Shanghai (CDHAW) is listed here. 30 credits can be earned here in one semester followed by a Bachelor's thesis leading to a double Bachelor's degree in Business English.

    Particularly the TH Bingen sets itself apart with extensive laboratory equipment which has stood the test in many practical projects and laboratory practicals. Regional and national companies are aware of this which means they are happy to initiate projects with professors.     The TH Bingen with its well-maintained buildings has a very attractive location at the junction of the Rhine and the Nahe rivers. It is well-anchored in the region and offers a personal atmosphere for students on campus. The living situation is affordable. A wide range of informational events is offered during the course of studies in Mechanical Engineering.
