Support for foundersThe University of Duisburg-Essen has combined the numerous measures in the IDE competence centre for innovation and start-ups. There are dedicated courses related to e-entrepreneurship or e-intrapreneurship; the development of business plans is discussed in seminars ("start-up camp"), projects and theses, and own ideas can be developed and discussed; student start-up projects are encouraged and supported; in addition, the university offers additional services to which reference is made.
