    Small practical and exercise groups; Application-oriented content; Interdisciplinary culture; Equal distribution of contents between business administration, (business) informatics and cross-curricular knowledge; Generalist education.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Based on a learning agreement, Business Informatics students in the 6th semester can complete a semester abroad at a university of their choice. International degree courses provide opportunities for a year abroad at the partner university Staffordshire University (UK) and completing a dual degree (BASc/BAEng Hons). The international orientation is promoted through a wide range of foreign language courses, international workshops and excursions, as well as a range of English-taught courses that are currently being developed.

    The FH South Westphalia has been certified as “Family-Friendly University” since 2013. It supports its employees and students with work-life balance issues and thus promotes the university’s heterogeneity. A family office has been established that advises, informs and supports university members on family matters, such as childcare and caring for family members.
