Special features regarding teachingLessons with a maximum of 36 students per group; predominantly seminar courses with a high proportion of practical exercises with modern software systems suitable for computer science courses; continuous feedback of the imparted content with practical requirements, language courses in small groups (on average about 10 to 12 people); additional offers in the form of seminars (Studium Generale with around 60 topics per quarter).

Special features regarding the international orientationEnglish as a foreign language is compulsory in the Bachelor's degree course in Business Informatics, optionally Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese or Japanese can be taken. Many cooperation companies are internationally positioned so that practical experience abroad can be gathered.

Support for foundersCompulsory elective modules in the field of entrepreneurship; Entrepreneurs Club as a student presentation; projects in start-up companies in the Master's program; projects in the Master's program with self-chosen topics of the students for ideas of a later spin-off; alumni network NORDAKADEMIKER e.V. as an exchange platform and peer group for start-up ideas.
