  • Special features regarding teaching
    The course teaches extensive professional skills. Lecture phases at the University and practical phases in companies change on a quarterly basis and enable students to contemplate and apply theoretical concepts. Practical experiences are discussed and documented in project work. Communication and presentation seminars and compulsory foreign language training ensure the required communication skills are achieved. To support individual skills development, every student is assigned a professor as a mentor.

    Partner universities in England and Scotland for semesters abroad or a short summer school; Close cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce in Paris.

    Several PC pools are available to students and can be used between 07:00 - 22:00, even at weekends.

    Research has a strong focus on application thanks to FHDW's close connections with commercial enterprises in Lower Saxony and professional associations. Research focuses include Medium-Sized Enterprise Management, Internationalisation and the Permeability of the Educational System, as well as the Development of Study Concepts for Professionals.
