Special features regarding teachingSelf-referential, explorative, research-oriented as well as practical and project-related learning; close, personal contact between students and teachers; personal, learning-promoting atmosphere; easy access to teachers, no crowded events; extensive support and advice in all study phases (learning groups, method-oriented training courses, self-experience); supervision and coaching in central transition phases, psychological counselling; practice database; foreign office / commissioned; mediation of internships abroad.
Special features regarding the international orientationErasmus University Charter; DAAD / Promos programmes; Bachelor: 15-20 outgoings in each winter semester, those who did the practical parts of their studies abroad (usually in the practical phase 2, 33cps in the 4th / 5th semesters). The Master's degree includes possible study visits to partner universities in Finland and Sweden at the end of the 3rd semester and the beginning of the 4th semesters (research project M7) as part of the Master’s. Structural simplifications for international mobility have been put in place for these time periods. However, stays abroad are also encouraged outside of these windows. Special features regarding research and developmentResearch-oriented MA degree course in "Health-Promoting Social Work", extensive introduction to Research methodology, SPSS training, in-institutes for health research and Social psychiatry (igsp), research and transfer in childhood and family (foki), addiction research (DISuP) and participation research, public research colloquium, specialist forums; connection to the centre for research funding and further education.
