    specialisations in Transport Logistics, Internal Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing/International Business; Opportunities to study abroad are integrated into the curriculum, soft skills, parts of the curriculum in English, Logistics and Production as a Competence Centre to support teaching, Start-Up and Management as a Competence Centre, lectures supported by SAP, corporate business game, e-learning platform to support lecture courses, option to acquire an additional qualification "DGQ Quality Systems Manager Junior".
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Long-term exchange (students and researchers) with Milwaukee School of Engineering, as well as with universities in Växjö and Gdansk; Expansion of the existing Erasmus partnerships in connection with the establishment of an English Track in business administration; Special international focus in business administration as an elective; Participation in student exchanges with China (Hangzhou) as part of a university partnership; Curricula allow for practical phases abroad at the end of the programme (optional); Substantial international commitment on the part of the teachers (China, USA, Syria, India).

  • Support for founders
    Institute for Entrepreneurship and Business Development: Free facility for students, graduates and university members for all matters related to start-ups. It offers advice on business models, business plans, funding, etc. The qualification options comprise courses/sessions on start-ups and management know-how for communicating entrepreneurial thinking and action and for qualifying for self-employment. The institute’s workshops are integrated into all curricula; special elective in the Master of Industrial Engineering.

    Interdisciplinary project weeks with the participation of all department members, department combines mechanical engineering and business on many committees, interdisciplinary electives, admissions practices (mix of school-leavers and qualified apprentices), Business Landscapes project (course-integrated) unites students and academic/non-academic staff, peer tutoring projects, interdisciplinary student management consultancy.
