Special features regarding research activitiesResearch is application-oriented with a strong empirical focus. A comprehensive range of courses in methodology supports the acquisition of the required qualification. Students are involved early on and also encouraged to participate in academic events. Students are actively involved in research projects from Master's level onwards. Students have access to their own experimental lab for conducting experiments.

Support for foundersFounders' Café: Goal: Prospective entrepreneurs, investors and start-up experts meet regularly; Forum for questions related to one's own start-up; Start-up promotion of the transfer centre; Events for students and young scientists (5-Euro-Business competition, Founders' Week Germany, Founders' Workshop, workshops and courses offered by the two chairs of entrepreneurship); Start-up leave: Students who want to establish their own business while studying can take a leave of absence for two semesters if supervised by the transfer centre; Mentoring for start-ups, funding.
