Support for foundersFounders' Café: Those interested in founding a company, investors and start-up experts meet regularly; forum for questions about own start-ups; promotion of Start-up by the transfer centre; events for students and young researchers (5-euro business competition, Gründerwoche Deutschland, start-up workshop, workshops and lectures of the two entrepreneurial chairs); Wilhelminian era: Students who want to start a business during their studies can take leave of 2 semesters if supervised by the transfer centre; mentoring of start-ups, funding.

Other special featuresFrom the summer semester 2018, the University of Passau is offering the two interdisciplinary, English-language certificate courses Entrepreneurial Pathfinder and Honours Degree in Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship, which are aimed at students from all faculties who are familiar with foundations and technology. The Legal Pathfinder complements the program for all Law students who are interested in legal questions about entrepreneurship and start-ups.
