  • Special features regarding teaching
    Broad, in-depth basic training in the core areas of Chemistry (Applied Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry/Technical Chemistry); specialisation through selection of corresponding compulsory elective modules as from the 2nd Master's semester; consistently research-based and research-related, a large proportion of practical work (particularly in the Master's degree course) is completed directly in the study groups.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Regular publication of research results in internationally respected journals; several Leibniz prize winners (most recently in 2015: Prof. Grimme, Theoretical Chemistry); Master's degree course held in English from WS 2016/17.
