  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    For international relations, a strategy has been developed at the LUH, which specifically expands strategic partnerships in priority regions, but also implements measures to increase the number of study-related stays abroad and to increase the attractiveness of the university for international students as part of the internationalisation strategy. At the level of study organisation, more emphasis is to be placed on joint and double degrees as well as on the mobility of students through the integration of mobility windows and the increase in the number of partnerships.
  • Support for founders
    The Graduate Academy of the Natural Sciences Faculty (GRANAT) offers the faculty’s students access to the topic of start-ups in the “key qualifications” area, with “Unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln – Aktive Karrieregestaltung“ (Entrepreneurial thinking and approach – active career development.) They learn to recognise that thinking and acting entrepreneurially is an integral part of every corporate culture (entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship). Students are encouraged to also reflect on self-employment as a career option.
  • Characteristics of assistance to differently abled persons
    The valid model examination regulations at the LUH contain Article 16 on forms of assessment in hardship cases. This establishes in the model examination regulations the possibility of reasonable adjustments for students in special circumstances.
