    Faculty’s own International Relations Centre, separate advisory office for international students, triple-degree programme “European Master”, all exchange spaces of the Faculty without tuition fees at the partner universities, additional spaces at over 100 partner universities of the LMU, specialist language courses in nine languages in the field of economic sciences, wide range of English-taught courses, two Master’s programmes entirely in English.

    The research focuses of the 24 academic chairs we have at present are combined into five competence areas: Accounting, Finance, Strategy and Marketing, Innovation and Leadership, and Learning; Lead role in inter-disciplinary and international centres, e.g. Economics & Business Data Center, Munich Risk and Insurance Center, LMU Entrepreneurship Centre, Center for Digital Technology and Management, Center for Internet Research and Media Integration or Munich Center of Health Sciences.

    Very close cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Centre of the LMU. As a result, a variety of support services for entrepreneurs and specific spin-offs from Business Administration: Course “START with Business Planning”, compulsory for all Business Administration/Economics Teaching students; Certificate for students in “Entrepreneurship Excellence Programme”; “LMU Entrepreneurship Seminar” for researchers and students; Work placements at start-ups within the LMU context; Practical projects as part of the “Entrepreneur Farm” with renowned companies (Corporate Ent.); Networking with mentors and investors via various event formats.

    Process- and solution-oriented advice in confidential meetings with student advisory services/student coaching; Support and guidance (also advice on exam regulations) throughout the programme. The focus is on the strengths and potential of those affected in consideration of the impact of the individual challenges on their studies. Resources and new perspectives are accessed jointly with the students: The time at university is to be professionally successful and personally satisfying. Collaboration with the guidance centre for students with disabilities and chronic illness.

    The Faculty of Business Administration respects the diversity of its members and their different experiences, abilities, views and ways of thinking: They are to be ensured the best possible development and ability to contribute regardless of gender, family responsibilities, physical/mental conditions, social and cultural background. Extensive services are available, such as mentors, family services, continuing education, etc. These processes are actively supervised by a comprehensive diversity management (central LMU “contact point for equality and inclusivity”).
