    The university provides support in connection with the Regensburg University Research and Technology Transfer (FUTUR). The innovation and incubator centres BioPark and TechBase provide ongoing support for start-ups in the fields of biotechnology and information technology. Regular start-up weekends for prospective entrepreneurs. At the Faculty of Economic Sciences, company start-ups are supported by the student consultancy Intouch Consult and by the chair of Innovation and Technology Management.
