Special features regarding research activities
Focus on questions of Institutional Economics, i.e. all economics professors in Marburg conduct research in this area; internal research cooperation within the "Marburg Centre for Institutional Economics". The research focus "Institutional Economics and Corporate Governance" examines what determines the framework of action for economic actors and how they react to changes in the framework. In particular, the focus is on the interaction between formal and informal institutions and norms on the behaviour of the actors and the development of economic success factors.
