  • Special features regarding research activities
    "Responsible innovation", i.e. the idea of an enlightened, responsible innovation activity by economic actors (individuals or organisations), forms the overarching guiding principle of the Faculty of Economics in research and teaching. Economics implements this model in its research projects in the areas of "Governance and Compliance" and "Global Change and Development", with a focus on the conditions of international trade and poverty, health and educational research in developing countries.
  • Support for founders
    Establishment of a founding officer of the faculty as the first point of contact for start-up ideas from the faculty of Economics. Mediation to the start-up funding of the University of Göttingen with its numerous workshops and a competition on the topic of start-ups. Prof. Bizer is responsible for the establishment and establishment of the SNIC (Südniedersachsen Innovations Campus). The SNIC coordinates decentralised cooperation and advisory services in the region, supports innovations and start-ups and increases the region's attractiveness for skilled workers.
