Special features regarding teachingIn line with the general orientation of the Institute of Education Studies, the courses offered are broadly based thematically, theoretically and methodologically and aligned with key international developments in the subject. The study regulations create extensive perspectives for individual specialisations: There is an extensive range of module options, both optional and mandatory. Innovative and digital teaching/learning concepts are employed. Credits earned at other higher education institutions in Germany and abroad are be recognised.
Special features regarding the international orientationResearch and teaching have a strong international focus at the Department of Education Studies, which becomes evident, e.g. based on its strong involvement in international research projects and other international partnerships and is also reflected in the topics and in the format of the courses. A wide range of partner universities abroad as well as lecturers with strong international ties create many opportunities for students, for example with regard to study and research abroad, international work placements and many others.
