  • Special features regarding teaching
    The acquisition of additional qualifications is possible through the DaF certificate (German as a Foreign Language), the oral certificate and the written certificate. The Centre for Speech, Communication and Theatre Practice, the co[n]TEXT writing guidance office and the Writing and Reading Centre provide training in key qualifications.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Collaborations on a range of different levels with universities in the USA (Princeton, Seattle), Great Britain (Sheffield), China (Xi’an, Shanghai), Africa (Libreville, Gabon) and Uzbekistan (Taschkent). Approx 30 ERASMUS partnerships, special guidance programmes for foreign students, work placement positions for students of the WWU at foreign German Studies departments, Humboldt scholarship holders (including from Brazil and China), exchange between doctoral candidates in the form of international doctoral candidate colloquiums.
