Special features regarding teachingEmpirical-experimental focus; Close interlinking of basic and applied subjects; Consideration of biological-neuroscientific correlates of behaviour; behavioural medical-psychosomatic orientation of Clinical Psychology; integration of basic scientific-focused disciplines "Development and Culture" and "Social Psychology" with the application subject "Occupational and Organisational Psychology" in the Intercultural Master's degree; high professional orientation with corresponding taught elements and numerous additional programmes; intensive methodology orientation in all degree courses.
Special features regarding the international orientationIntercultural Master's degree, various exchange programmes with international universities, regular stays by international visiting academics, special arrangements for facilitating work placements abroad, double degree with Tilburg University, international research collaborations in which students can participate while writing theses with the opportunity for comparative cultural research, "cross-cultural skills" summer school with renowned international academics.
