    German studies at Regensburg includes a wide range of German studies sub-disciplines, offers the possibility of qualifications in addition to the core programme (DaF and DaZ), is practice-oriented (e.g. applied literary studies) and regularly hosts interdisciplinary courses as well as guest lectures and courses by national and international visiting lecturers.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    German studies at Regensburg is internationally networked and regularly welcomes international visiting researcher and lecturers as well as numerous international students. Of particular importance here is the pronounced East-West focus (the University of Regensburg sees itself as a bridge between East and West), which is reflected in the research and teaching of German studies at Regensburg (e.g. via the DiMOS research centre): German in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe).
