Special features regarding teachingHigh level of student participation in teaching primarily thanks to use of seminars; High level of interdisciplinarity thanks to regular courses with teachers from other philologies as well as Aesthetics and Media Sciences. High focus on methods at all levels. The linguistic laboratories are an essential component of teaching in the department and thus contribute significantly to student training.

Own Erasmus coordination and internationalisation coordination office. The departments pursue a coordinated internationalisation strategy with the aim of developing student and lecturer mobility quantitatively and qualitatively.
