    Erasmus exchange with 17 universities. Freiburg is part of the tri-national EUCOR network of the Upper Rhine universities (including Basel, Strasbourg) with the option of attending courses at all participating universities.

    Several computer pools. Large departmental library (42,500 books; 10,840 e-books, online access to almost 2,000 specialist journals).

    The institute and most of the lecture theatres are accessible; there is a disabled toilet in the institute. Students may apply for reasonable adjustment; with the university officer for students with disabilities or chronic conditions, individual solutions are found that may also include technical or personnel resources.
