Special features regarding teachingFocus on fundamental skills that are required to have a successful career later, "Teaching and academic guidance" service unit, coordinated concept of theory (lectures) and practice (preliminary exercises), ensuring excellent teaching through didactic training for tutors and academic staff, regular evaluation of teaching in the Faculty, additional studying alongside lectures using e-learning (videocasts, online course, recorded lectures), cooperation within the framework of the Virtual University of Bavaria, inclusion of specialisation areas enables individual specialisation.

Special features regarding the international orientationTogether with the Université de Rennes 1 (France), the Faculty offers the programme “German-French Law”, accredited and funded by the German-French University. The interdisciplinary Master’s programme “Human Rights” in English is aimed at prospective students from Germany and abroad. The “Research Centre of Turkish Law” is engaged in comparative legal research regarding Turkish law. The Faculty has a broad network of partner universities abroad.

Special features regarding the equipmentInteractive whiteboards in most classrooms, PC workstations in the library and computer room at the department, access to almost all legal databases, possibility of accessing the university's database, new learning rooms for small groups can be used by individual learning groups, in e-learning: in-depth and complementary online courses, for example on the exam technique, including through specially created instructional films.
