    Through a specific choice of compulsory elective modules, minor subject modules, soft skills etc. the student can become a specialist in Maritime Computer Science, Media Informatics, Computational Demography, Complex Systems, Theoretical Computer Science or Geo and Environmental Informatics. After successful completion of their studies, this specialisation is attested by a certificate which the students receive in addition to their Bachelor's or Master's degree as a computer scientist.
