Support for foundersThe University of Kassel has been an “Entrepreneur University” since the beginning of 2013. This distinction was awarded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as part of its EXIST funding competition. Entrepreneurship (“Entrepreneurial thinking and skills”) plays a major role at the University of Kassel. The Science Park Kassel is the location and symbolic of the university’s entrepreneurship profile. The new innovation and founders centre on campus combines all the activities relating to promoting start-ups and entrepreneurship in a single location.
Characteristics of assistance to differently abled personsSupporting and promoting students with disabilities and health impairments is a particular concern of the University of Kassel. In addition to extensive advisory services, there is also an unbureaucratic process for granting reasonable adjustments.
