Special features regarding teachingIn the learning centres, students are given support by staff and student tutors. The bachelor's degree in mathematics and technical mathematics also includes a "mathematics practical" with practice-oriented project work; in addition, the minor subject or the technical focus can be greatly expanded. As part of the master’s degree, a focus area is organised each year with individual courses, which means that students are introduced to an area of research in these coordinated courses. Teacher training courses include everything from special needs education to teaching at grammar schools and comprehensive schools
